NJCU's 55th season of intercollegiate men's soccer ends with a record of 7-10-1 and 2-7 in the NJAC. The Gothic Knights lost their final six conference games after opening the year 2-1 in the league.

Camden (17-0-2, 7-0-2 NJAC), ranked No. 3 nationally by D3soccer.com, No.4 by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America and No. 1 in the NSCAA Division III South Atlantic Region, improves to 26-0-5 in its last 31 games—the 10th longest unbeaten streak in Division III history. Camden, the two-time defending conference champions, completed a regular season undefeated for the first time in its history and will be the No. 1 seed in next week's NJAC Tournament.

RU-Camden outshot NJCU, 25-14, including 16-4 on net. In defeat, junior goalkeeper Ruben Morales (Princeton, NJ/Princeton) made 11 saves—three more than his previous career high.

Camden was paced by a hat trick from sophomore forward Mike Ryan who put all four of his shots on goal and tallied his 16th, 17th and 18th goals of the season to account for the second, third and fourth goals of the evening for his first career three-goal game. Senior goalkeeper Mike Randall made four saves while notching his 10th shutout of the season.

Senior Bobby Foster netted the eventual game-winner in the sixth minute and senior Forrest Bennfors scored the fifth goal. Meanwhile, junior midfielder Joe Auleta contributed a pair of assists on the first and third goals. Eric Cutri and Keegan Balle each tacked on one assist.

Camden jumped on the board 5:21 into the contest on a header from Foster off a restart by Auleta. Just over six minutes later, Ryan made it 2-0 off a pass in front from Cutry at 11:26. Auleta found Ryan on the right side of the box at 19:32 where he deposited his second goal of the game for a 3-0 advantage and Ryan added his third goal in a span of 16:26 when he deflected in a thru ball from Balle at 25:52. His 18 goals is one shy of Camden's single-season record. Bennfors notched the lone second-half goal at 80:12, scoring on a bullet into the left side following a handball outside the box by Morales.

In defeat for NJCU, its lone senior, All-NJAC and All-Region defender Mohamed Conteh (Trenton, NJ/West Windsor-Plainsboro North) and junior center midfielder Kelvin Flores (Hightstown, NJ/Hightstown) each had four shots.
