Chris played four years on the varsity basketball team and was team captain her last three years. She is currently second on the all-time scoring list at JCSC with 1,436 points. Chris was a member of the NY/NJ Metro All-Star Team her senior year. As a freshman, she led the Gothics in scoring with a 17-point game average and also set a school record for most points by a freshman (384). She led the team in scoring in her junior season with 18.2 points per game. After graduating from JCSC, Chris started a girl’s basketball program at Marist High School in Bayonne and was the first female coach at the school where she coached the girls basketball team in 1986, 1987 and 1988. Chris is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in social work at Georgian Court College.
