New Jersey City University Athletics

Was virtually a one woman tennis team for four years. She was captain of the team for her first two years while serving as player-coach in her last two years. Her brilliant 41-2 record is the best in Jersey City State history. In 1973 she reached the quarter finals of the annual New Jersey Eastern Collegiate Tennis Tourney. She was selected “Miss Congeniality” for the tournament. Debbie has remained active and competitive in club tennis.
