New Jersey City University Athletics

Played varsity basketball for three years and varsity tennis for four years at Jersey City State. He was a member of the first Gothic team to play intercollegiate basketball. A playmaking guard, he was one of the first two lettermen in the school’s history and was president of the JCSC Men’s Club in 1936 and 1937. Joe was captain of the tennis team, and recorded a 40-4 record during his four seasons of competition. He passed away on January 04, 2004 at the age of 87.
