Lynne was a member of the JCSC twirling squad for four years (1964 to 1968) and served as treasurer for two years and captain in her senior year. Following graduation, she worked on the newly formed alumni athletic committee. Lynne later served for several years as chair of that committee.  She has been a member of the Athletic Hall of Fame Committee since its inception, and a member of the intercollegiate Athletic Council for nine years. Lynne was also president of the Alumni Association for six years. She has been the recipient of several awards including the NCAA “Contribution to Football” Award in 1969 and the “Fan of the Year” and ECAC Appreciation Awards in 1987. Lynne is in her tenth year as the principal of the Kennedy School in Jersey City.
