A four-year starter for the Lady Gothics, Mary Beth was the first 1,000 point career scorer in JCSC women’s basketball history.  Her career total of 1,036 points presently ranks fourth on the list of all-time scorers. She averaged 12.1 ppg as a freshman, 18.1 ppg as a sophomore, 16.6 ppg as a junior, and 15.5 ppg as a senior, leading the team in scoring for three straight seasons. Mary Beth scored 35 points against Caldwell College in her senior year – a single game record which stood  until it was broken during the 1986-87 season. In addition to her outstanding play, Mary Beth served as team captain for two years.
