Bob was co-founder of the club football team in 1966, which later became a varsity intercollegiate sport. He was the starting end on the 1966 undefeated team (6-0), and was credited with scoring the first aerial touchdown in JCSC football history. He was also co-founder of the Alumni Athletic Scholarship Committee. Bob also played two years of varsity basketball and was considered an outstanding rebounder. He was a starter on the 1964-65 team that finished 17-5, and won the New Jersey State College Athletic Conference championship. That team also played in the NAIA District 31 postseason tournament. Bob also spent five seasons on the Kean College football coaching staff from 1972 to 1976. He is currently the Director of Student Life at Kean College.
