NJCU vs. RUTGERS-CAMDEN MEN’S SOCCER POSTPONED; SEASON FINALE NOW SLATED FOR FRIDAY, OCTOBER 29

- NJCU will now close the season on October 29.

JERSEY CITY, NJ (www.NJCUGothicKnights.com) | New Jersey City University final game of the 2010 season—a New Jersey Athletic Conference game against Rutgers University-Camden scheduled for Wednesday, October 27 at 4 p.m.—has been postponed due to field conditions. The game will be played on Friday, October 29 at 3:30 p.m. at NJCU's Robert L. McNulty Memorial Soccer Field.

NJCU is 7-10 overall and 1-7 in the NJAC; the Scarlet Raptors are 9-8-1 overall and 3-5-0 in the league. Both sides have been eliminated from NJAC Tournament contention.

It's the second year in a row that NJCU's final game was postponed due to weather. Last season, NJCU and Montclair State University were pushed back. On the rescheduled date, the Gothic Knights stunned the #3 ranked Red Hawks, 2-1, in overtime.
