JERSEY CITY, NJ (www.NJCUGothicKnights.com)...New Jersey City University's men's volleyball match against College of Mount Saint Vincent—a North East Collegiate Volleyball Association Metro Division contest scheduled for Friday, February 26 at 7 p.m. at NJCU's “Coach Charlie Brown Court” at the John J. Moore Athletics and Fitness Center, has been postponed due to weather conditions.
The match has been rescheduled for Monday, March 22 at 7 p.m. at NJCU and becomes the final match of the 2010 regular season. NJCU (8-4) has won four consecutive matches and six of its last seven overall.
In what has been an eventful winter weather season in the Mid Atlantic region, this is the sixth match directly impacted this year. NJCU's Gothic Knight Invitational was cancelled on February 6 due to a snow storm. Meanwhile, a tri-match between NJCU, Hilbert College and Stevenson University was cancelled on February 13/14 when heavy snow in Maryland damaged the roof of Stevenson's home arena.
Weather-permitting, NJCU will next host Hunter College on Sunday, February 28 at 12 p.m. at the John J. Moore Athletics and Fitness Center.
