Xarial Chandler is NJCU Women’s Athlete of the Week for the second time in her career.

In a 2-1 week for NJCU in its final three home matches of the season, Chandler reached double figures in kills in all three sets while playing outstanding complementary defense. In 10 sets, she tallied 40.0 points, 31 kills, 23 digs, 8 service aces and 2.0 blocks. She had a solid .157 attack percentage for the week (31-17-89). Chandler reached double digits in kills for the third, fourth and fifth consecutive match and seventh, eighth and ninth times this season.

In a loss to Rowan on October 21, Chandler had 11 kills—her seventh double-digit kill effort this season and third in a row—adding eight digs.
