NJCU Campus Map (Updated 2024)DIRECTIONS
TO THE MAIN CAMPUS
Driving: Take the New Jersey Turnpike to Exit 15E (Newark/Jersey City). Pay toll, and follow signs to Routes 1 & 9 North (Truck Route). Cross over two drawbridges to a traffic light. Stay straight at the light. After the McDonalds (on the right hand side) go to the 2nd traffic light and make a right turn on Kennedy Boulevard. New Jersey City University is 12 blocks down on the right hand side.

Mass Transit Options:
From New York City: Take the #119 bus from Port Authority Bus Terminal, Gate 1 directly to the University OR take the PATH subway to Journal Square and follow the directions below.

From Journal Square: Take the #10 South Boulevard bus from platform D1 directly to the University's main entrance OR take the #80 Newark Avenue/Gates Avenue bus to Audubon and West Side avenues and from there, either walk the three short blocks to campus, or take the free shuttle bus from the University's parking lot on West Side Avenue.

From Hudson-Bergen Light Rail: Take the Hudson-Bergen Light Rail to West Side Avenue (last stop).
Walk four blocks south (turn left walking out of the station) on West Side Avenue to Culver Avenue.
Turn left on Culver Avenue [location of John J. Moore Athletics and Fitness Center] and walk three short blocks to the main campus, or walk one more block to Audubon Avenue to take the free shuttle bus from the University's parking lot on West Side Avenue.

TO THE JOHN J. MOORE ATHLETICS & FITNESS CENTER (Basketball & Volleyball)
Take the New Jersey Turnpike to Exit 15E (Newark/Jersey City). Pay toll, and follow signs to Routes 1 & 9 North (Truck Route). Cross over two drawbridges and move into the right lane after the second bridge. Exit onto Route 440 South and proceed through three traffic lights to the jug handle for Culver Avenue. Follow Culver Avenue straight for two lights. At the second light (West Side Avenue), make a right and then a quick left to remain on Culver. The Athletic & Fitness Center will be on the left just past the Miss America Diner.

TO THE THOMAS M. GERRITY ATHLETIC COMPLEX (Baseball, Soccer, Softball)
Take the New Jersey Turnpike to Exit 15E (Newark/Jersey City). Pay toll, and follow signs to Routes 1 & 9 North (Truck Route). Cross over two drawbridges and move into the right lane after the second bridge. Exit onto Route 440 South and proceed approximately one mile to the intersection for Danforth Avenue (this will also be the entrance for Society Hill of Jersey City). Go past this intersection and through the next light. The entrance to the Thomas M. Gerrity Athletic Complex will be the next right turn just after the visiting bleachers on the football field.

PETS
For safety reasons, pets are prohibited from all athletic events at NJCU. Fans with pets will be asked to leave the facilities.

PARKING

THOMAS M. GERRITY ATHLETIC COMPLEX (Baseball, Soccer, Softball):
Ample free parking is available when you enter the complex.

JOHN J. MOORE ATHLETICS & FITNESS CENTER (Basketball & Volleyball): On-street parking is prohibited by the city of Jersey City during weeknight events and those who park on the street risk being booted, ticketed and/or towed. NJCU has several campus parking lots on Culver and West Side Avenues for your convenience at a nominal fee. Please refer to the campus map for these locations.

ADMISSION POLICY
Basketball:
General Admission (Doubleheaders): $5
Children: $3
NJCU Students/Staff with ID: Free

All other regular season home athletic events are free.
