Freshman outside hitter Xarial Chandler is the NJCU Women’s Athlete of the Week for the third time this season. She had a fantastic end to her rookie campaign as NJCU went 1-1 to conclude the season. In six sets, she produced 25.0 points, 25 digs, 20 kills and five service aces hitting .159 on attack (20-10-63). She averaged 4.17 points, 4.17 digs, 3.33 kills and 0.83 aces per set. She reached double digits in digs for the ninth and 10th time this year and had her fifth consecutive match with 10+ kills.

In a 3-0 loss at Rutgers-Camden on October 29, NJCU received a match-high 11 kills from Chandler who reached double digits in kills for the fifth consecutive match. She added 12 digs for her fourth career double-double with three aces.
