New Jersey City University Athletics

Senior All-American TERRY PEARSON (Jersey City, NJ/Lincoln) is the NJCU Men's Athlete of the Week for the first time since May 2006, after posting a solid performance in the 400-meter dash, and earning selection as the New Jersey Athletic Conference Men’s Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week for week three of the 2007 season.

 

At the Osprey Open on April 7 at Richard Stockton College in Pomona, NJ, Pearson, the captain of both the men’s and women’s track programs, finished third of 30 athletes in the 400-meter dash, timing 50.96 seconds. He had the top time of six NJAC entrants in the sprint.

 

He previously was the Athlete of the Week on January 30 and May 1, 2006.
