For the first time in his career, sophomore opposite THIAGO SIQUEIRA (Newark, NJ/Science) is the NJCU Men's Athlete of the Week after the 5-foot-11 junior tri-captain averaged 4.00 digs, 3.67 points and 3.33 kills per game for the week as NJCU (10-7) went 1-0 and improved to 4-1 in the North East Collegiate Volleyball Association Metro Division, with its third straight win.

In NJCU's 3-0 sweep of Polytechnic University on February 19 (30-16, 30-20, 30-24), in which NJCU improved to 21-0 all-time against the Blue Jays, Siqueira paced the Knights with his sixth double-double of the season and 18th of his career as he hit .350 with 10 kills (10-3-20) and a match-best 12 digs, as Poly was limited to a .043 attack percentage.

On the season, Siqueira is averaging 3.14 points, 2.51 kills, 2.48 digs, and 0.36 aces per game with a .175 attack percentage.
