Freshman sprinter MARC ROBINSON (Maplewood, NJ/St. Benedict's Prep) is the NJCU Men's Athlete of the Week for the first time in his career after a standout performance at the Wesleyan Invitational on January 26.

Robinson won the 200-meter dash by 31/100th of a second in an event in which NJCU placed first, second and third among a field of 34. Robinson timed 22.73 seconds to easily qualify for the ECAC championship. The qualifying standard is 23.14 in an event the NCAA does not offer an indoor title in.

Robinson was second of 26 in the 400-meter dash in 52.04 seconds. He also ran the second leg on 4x400 relay which clocked 3:31.42 and was first of 12 teams.
