The debut of Division I transfer KYLE INGRAM (Sicklerville, NJ/Winslow Township) proved to be a near-record setter as the Delaware State University transfer had one of the top three-point shooting efforts in New Jersey City University history. For his efforts, he has been named NJCU's co-Men's Athlete of the Week.

In NJCU’s 78-74 win over the winningest team in the CUNYAC last year, York College, Ingram poured in a team-high 23 points as he drilled seven three-pointers. Ingram shot 7-of-15 from the floor and 7-of-11 from three-point range, adding six rebounds, four assists and one steal, while adding 2-of-2 free throws.
 
In the first half, NJCU trailed 12-4 before Ingram made his first two threes to cut it to 16-15. Ingram added another three at 8:51 to make it a 26-24 deficit but NJCU trailed by eight at the half before outscoring the Cardinals by 12 in the second period. 

Ingram scored 14 of his 23 in the second half, and opened the stanza with back-to-back threes in the first 49 seconds. NJCU took its first lead since the 11:18 mark of the first half and another Ingram triple made it 51-46. York countered with an 8-0 run to retake the lead, but yet again, Ingram answered, tying the game with another three at 8:56 before he hit two free throws to ice it, 78-74.
