Junior point guard #KEITH WILLIAMS# (Jersey City, NJ/Create Charter) is the NJCU Men’s Athlete of the Week for the third time in his career after averaging 15.7 points per game, 3.7 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 2.3 steals per game whole shooting 53.3 percent from three-point range (8-15), 73.9 percent from the foul line (17-23) and 11-of-28 from the field (.393) in three games. For the week he tallied 47 points, 11 rebounds, 10 assists and seven steals in 98 minutes.
 
On January 17, Williams drilled all four three-pointers he attempted and led five NJCU players in double figures with 22 points, as the Gothic Knights posted an 83-74 non-conference victory over City Tech on the road. Williams reached the 20-point plateau for the second time this season, finishing with 22 on 5-of-8 shooting (4-4 3FG) and 8-of-11 free throws, while adding five assists and three steals. With 3:15 left in the second half, NJCU led by just five before Williams drilled a triple to push the lead back to eight with 2:24 to go. Williams scored 10 consecutive points for NJCU in the final two and a half minutes and converted seven of eight from the foul line to ice the game.
 
In a one-point, 77-76 loss at #20 ranked Ramapo College on January 19, he finished with 12 points, three assists and two steals. He made 2-of-4 from three-point distance and 6-of-8 from the line.
 
In a 55-47 loss at Rowan University on January 22, Williams was the lone NJCU player to reach double digits, scoring 13 on 4-of-12 shooting (2-of-7 3FG) with six rebounds and two steals. NJCU held a 14-point, 33-19 lead after Williams made two foul shots and a three-pointer early in the second half. Williams nailed a triple with 28 seconds left to shave the Rowan lead to just two, 49-47, before the Profs hit late free throws to win it.
 
On the season, Williams leads the club in scoring at 12.0 per game (180 points) and has tallied 3.7 rebounds (55), 3.3 steals (50) and 3.2 assists (48) per game while shooting .474 from the field (54-114), .444 from three-point range (24-54) and .706 from the line (48-68) in 403 minutes. He has scored in double figures nine times with two 20-point contests and had led the Knights in assists nine times and scoring in four games.
 
Williams leads the NJAC in steals and ranks No. 2 in the nation in the category as of January 23. Among the NJAC statistical Top 10, Williams also ranks second in three-point percentage, fifth in three-pointers per game (1.6), and seventh in assists.
