Eduardo Tejada
Tejada averaged 4.00 shots, 2.67 points, 1.00 goals and 0.67 assists per game, tallying three goals, three assists, and eight points with 12 total shots and 11 on goal (91.7 percent).
He had a hand in all three NJCU goals in a 3-1 win at St. Joseph's College (LI) on October 8, scoring twice while assisting on the game-winner. He had six shots in the game, all on goal. His game-tying goal—his seventh of the year—came just 1:36 into the second half to even the contest at 1-1. His thru ball in the 74th minute set up the eventual winner before he tacked on his eighth goal in the 86th minute for insurance purposes.
In a 5-4 double overtime loss to Rutgers-Newark on October 10, he scored once and added an assist for his sixth multiple point game of the season. He took three shots and all three were on goal. His ninth goal of the season at the 31:58 mark gave NJCU a 2-0 lead at halftime and his breakaway pass from midfield led to the host’s third goal at the 50:02 mark for a 3-0 margin before the Raiders rallied to win.
Tejada also had three shots (two on goal) in a 1-0 loss at #8 Montclair State University.
