Kiara Martinez
Martinez concluded her collegiate career with a solid two-match effort. In eight sets she tallied 43 assists, 16 digs, seven aces and five kills and averaged 5.38 assists, 2.00 digs, 1.66 points and 0.88 aces per set.
On October 23, Martinez had an admirable performance on Senior Night 2012, finishing with her third career double-double—all this season—with a match-high 27 assists, adding 10 digs and a match-high six aces. She added five kills (5-3-16, .125) and one block. NJCU held match point in the fourth set, before falling to the College of Saint Elizabeth, 3-2 (13-24, 26-24, 14-25, 26-24, 15-11).
She wrapped up her four-year career—the last two seasons as a club co-captain—by contributing 16 assists, six digs and one ace in a 3-0 (25-7, 25-15, 25-15) defeat at Rowan University on October 25.
