BRITTANY HOFFMAN
Hoffman, a two-time Honorable Mention All-New Jersey Athletic Conference selection as a freshman and sophomore, has been one of NJCU’s most recognized scholar-athletes. A 2013 First-Team Academic All-NJAC selection and current Academic All-America nominee with a 3.83 grade point average in Fire Science, she earns the Athlete of the Week award after averaging 17 saves per game in two contests while posting a .791 save percentage.

Hoffman, a two-year co-captain who attends NJCU on a full Presidential Academic Scholarship, reached double figures in saves for the sixth and seventh times this season.

In a 5-0 home loss to Rutgers-Newark on October 16, she faced 42 shots, making 20 saves in 90 minutes for a .800 save percentage. It was her fifth 20-save performance of her career—all this season.

In an impressive performance on October 19 in a 4-0 loss at No. 3/8 ranked Montclair State University, she made 14 saves against the only undefeated and unbeaten women’s soccer program in Division III while facing 30 shots in 90 minutes.

Hoffman has previously been Athlete of the Week on September 30 and October 7, 2013, September 17 and 24, 2012 and October 22, 2012.

She currently ranks No. 3 in the country in saves per game at 13.82 and sixth in total saves (152) while leading a Gothic Knight squad that is ranked No. 1 nationally in saves per game as a team. She has reached double figures in saves 19 times in her career and in the last seven consecutive games.
