Junior power forward TIFFANY BOYD is the NJCU Women's Athlete of the Week for the second consecutive week and the second time in her career after averaging 13.5 points, 7.0 rebounds, 6.5 blocks and 1.5 steals per game while shooting 47.8 percent from the field (11-23) and 83.3 percent from the line (5-6).

Despite an 84-51 loss to undefeated Kean University on December 9, Boyd set what is believed to be a single-game school record when she easily surpassed her career high in blocked shots with 10—eclipsing her previous high of six on three occasions. She added a team-high 17 points on 6-of-13 shooting and five rebounds while securing her third and most impressive double-double of the season. The 10 blocks are the most in Division III this season.

In a heart-breaking 54-47 loss at Rutgers-Newark on December 6, Boyd collected 10 points on 5-of-10 shooting, nine rebounds, including eight defensive stabs, and three blocks, while playing a full 40 minutes for the first time in her career.
