New Jersey City University Athletics

Jaime Tlatelpa is the NJCU Men’s Athlete of the Week for the first time. The New Jersey City University men's cross country team ran in the last event before the NJAC Championship this weekend, topping nine teams at the Technology XC Challenge in Newark, N.J. Starring for the Knights was Tlatelpa who posted the third-best time for a Gothic Knight harrier since the program returned in 2003.

"Jaime ran a brilliant race today, he took some chances out there that paid off big."  head coach Patrick O'Neill said. "His race IQ has grown a lot over the course of this first month and that was truly evident today."
