JERSEY CITY, NJ…Saturday’s key New Jersey Athletic Conference men’s soccer game between #16 ranked New Jersey City University and Richard Stockton College, scheduled for 1 p.m. in Pomona, NJ has been postponed due to heavy rain and poor field conditions in South Jersey. The game will be made up on Sunday, October 23 at 3 p.m., at Stockton's campus on Pomona, NJ.
There had been discussions of the game being played at Rutgers University-Camden's field turf stadium. However, field conditions in Pomona improved enough overnight to allow the original venue to host the game.
With the game being postponed until Sunday, NJCU will now play two NJAC games in two days. The Knights will host #8 ranked Ramapo College on Monday, October 24 at 3 pm, in a game that was rained out on October 12.
