JERSEY CITY, NJ…Senior middle blocker LIZZELLE CINTRON (Elizabeth, NJ/Elizabeth) registered her 90th career double-double, and moved into 18th place in Division I, II and III history in career kills with 2,441, and junior outside hitter JACQUELINE LeBLANC had 16 kills and three aces as New Jersey City University won its 33rd consecutive home court match, holding off a valiant Hunter College team, 3-2 (30-23, 24-30, 30-9, 27-30, 15-6) in a non-conference match at the John J. NJCU (9-1) wins its sixth straight match and is now 33-0 at home in Cintron’s career. The match was NJCU’s 2007 home opener. Hunter, the 2006 City University of New York Athletic Conference champions, falls to 2-4 overall, but still leads the all-time series, 6-5.
