Stockton outshot NJCU 19-3 in the first period and led 3-0 at the half. Sophomore midfielder Marissa Weick (Barrington, NJ/Haddon Heights) scored what proved to be the game-winning goal just 3:07 into the first period, when she tracked down a loose ball off a rebound outside of the box, and left unmarked, buried a shot from 15-yards away inside the high right post for her first goal of the year.

Senior defender Katie Henderson (Williamstown, NJ/Williamstown) made it 3-0 at 39:31 when she gained possession from the Knights, made several moves around the defense, and rifled a shot inside the right post for her second goal of the season.

Stockton capped the scoring at 76:13 of the second half when freshman forward Leah Pocoroba (Galloway, NJ/Holy Spirit) fed a thru ball from the midfield that created a breakaway goal by freshman forward Shelley Gibney (Shamong, NJ/Seneca) on the left wing. It was Gibney’s second goal of the year and Pocoroba’s first assist. Stockton had an 18-4 advantage in shots in the second period.
