JERSEY CITY, NJ (www.NJCUGothicKnights.com)... The New Jersey Athletic Conference women's soccer game between New Jersey City University and #10/12 ranked Rowan University scheduled for Saturday, October 17 at 2 p.m. in Jersey City has been postponed due to inclement weather.
The schools will now play on Monday, October 19 at 3 p.m. at NJCU's Robert L. McNulty Memorial Soccer Field. NJCU, winners of three consecutive games, has set a single-season record for victories this year (10-6) and currently leads NCAA Division III in total goals with 62. The Gothic Knights are 6-1 at home in 2009. This is the first postponement of the season for NJCU.
Rowan, ranked 10th nationally by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America and 12th by D3Soccer.com, is 12-1-1 overall and in first place in the NJAC with a 6-0-0 mark.
