JERSEY CITY, NJ (www.NJCUGothicKnights.com)...The New Jersey City University women's basketball team will have the unique experience of playing a game in a professional arena on Monday, December 28 at 3 p.m. when the Gothic Knights face St. Joseph's College (Brooklyn) in a neutral site game at the IZOD Center as part of a basketball doubleheader with the New Jersey Nets of the National Basketball Association.
As part of the promotional package, fans who attend the NJCU/St. Joseph's game will enjoy floor level seating in Sections 104 or 105 when the Nets meet star Kevin Durant and the Oklahoma City Thunder at 7:30 p.m. in the second game of the doubleheader. The game will mark the first time in known school history that the program is playing a game in the Meadowlands.
Tickets for both games of the doubleheader are just $35 each. Floor level seating for Nets games in the sections available is priced at $100 if purchased outside of the promotion.
“It's a good experience to be able to play on that floor,” said fifth-year head coach ASHANTE TIMOLL. “I did it in high school and remembered having a great time. It should be a competitive game and will be fun to get away since we're not in any out-of-state tournaments this year.”
To purchase tickets, please contact Assistant Women's Basketball Coach Sandra Nunez at 201-200-3373 or snunez1@njcu.edu.
