NJCU/RUTGERS-NEWARK RAINED OUT; WILL BE PLAYED MARCH 30TH

- NJCU and Rutgers-Newark will play on March 30. The Gothic Knight softball game on March 28 will begin two hours earlier than previously scheduled.

JERSEY CITY, NJ…The scheduled New Jersey Athletic Conference opener between New Jersey City University and Rutgers-Newark on Thursday, March 26 at Bears and Eagles Riverfront Stadium was postponed due to poor field conditions and rain.
 
By conference rule, it will be made up on the next Monday, and the Scarlet Raiders will now host the Gothic Knights on Monday, March 30 at 3:30 p.m.
 
Meanwhile, NJCU's softball doubleheader against William Paterson University on Saturday, March 28 has had a time change. The NJAC opener for both schools will now begin at 11 a.m., rather than 1 p.m., as originally scheduled. It will be played at NJCU's Thomas M. Gerrity Athletic Complex.
