MADISON, NJ (www.NJCUGothicKnights.com)...Sophomore guard EBONY CUNNINGHAM (East Orange, NJ/East Orange Campus) notched her eighth career 20-point scoring effort, her fifth of the season and second in a row, but it wasn't enough as New Jersey City University dropped a 68-58 decision to Drew University in a non-conference women's basketball game on Wednesday night at Baldwin Gymnasium.
With the loss, NJCU falls to 5-15 overall. Drew led 36-30 at the half and improved to 11-8. The game was a make-up of a December 19 postponement. Drew has won the last four meetings between the schools in a series knotted at 4-4 all-time.
