DANIELLE DELFINO BECOMES EIGHTH PLAYER WITH 100 CAREER HITS FOR NJCU; KNIGHTS FALL AT WILLIAM PATERSON, 6-1, 6-0

- Danielle Delfino is the eighth player in school history to join the 100-hit club.

New Jersey City University junior second baseman DANIELLE DELFINO (Jersey City, NJ/County Prep) became the eighth player in the 30-year history of the Gothic Knight softball program to register 100 career hits and did so in only her 92nd career game, but NJCU dropped both ends of a New Jersey Athletic Conference doubleheader at William Paterson University, 6-1, and 6-0, on Friday at Pioneer Field.
 
In the 2010 NJAC opener for both schools, WPU improved to 13-4-1 (2-0 NJAC) while the Knights fell to 8-6 (0-2 NJAC). The Pioneers have won the last four meetings in a series it leads 27-2.
