JERSEY CITY, NJ (NJCUGothicKnights.com) | Due to severe weather on the East Coast, Thursday's non-conference home softball doubleheader between New Jersey City University and Fairleigh Dickinson University-Florham has been rained out and will not be rescheduled. It is the seventh weather-related postponement or cancellation of the active spring season.
Since the doubleheader was scheduled as NJCU's Senior Day and the final home games of the season, the Gothic Knights will honor their four four-year seniors—second baseman DANIELLE DELFINO (Jersey City, NJ/County Prep), catcher/utility player ALEXANDRA DiIORIO (Bloomfield, NJ/Bloomfield), first baseman TAYLOR LANG (Carteret, NJ/Carteret) and right fielder JORDAN POTTER (Jersey City, NJ/County Prep)—on Friday, April 29 at 3:30 p.m. at NJCU's Thomas M. Gerrity Athletic Complex. The ceremony will follow NJCU's final practice of the season and will include a barbecue with refreshments at the conclusion.
