JERSEY CITY, NJ (NJCUGothicKnights.com) | Mother Nature continues to speak loudly this spring sports season. Both of New Jersey City University's athletic events scheduled for Tuesday, April 5 have been postponed today due to rain, including the Gothic Knights' home New Jersey Athletic Conference doubleheader against Montclair State University. That doubleheader will be played tomorrow (Wednesday, April 6) at 3 p.m. in Jersey City.
Also washed off the schedule is NJCU's road baseball contest against Fairleigh Dickinson University-Florham in Madison, NJ. That non-conference game has not yet been rescheduled. If it is made up, the new dates and times will be posted online at NJCUGothicKnights.com.
For the baseball team, the game is the fourth rained or snowed out this season. It was the second softball postponement thus far during the 2011 season.
