SAME SCORE THREE TIMES AS STEVENSON EDGES NJCU 25-23, 25-23, 25-23

- Justin Beaumont had a near triple-double in defeat, finishing with 20 assists, eight kills, eight digs, a .300 attack percentage and two solo blocks.

had a balanced offensive effort but lost three straight tight sets by identical scores as Stevenson University edges NJCU, 3-0 (25-23, 25-23, 25-23) in a non-conference men's volleyball match on Friday night at Owings Mills Gym.
 
NJCU has its two-match winning streak snapped and fell back to .500 (10-10). Stevenson (9-8) won its second in a row. In what has been a competitive rivalry, Stevenson took a 10-7 lead in the all-time series, winning the fourth straight meeting between the clubs.
 
There were 17 ties in the match, including 12 in the opening set when there were a pair of lead changes, but the Mustangs never trailed in the second or third games.
