“It was a tough night for us in all aspects of the game, summarized first-year head coach Ray Vance. “These happen from time to time and hopefully we have gotten it out of our system for the season. We did not control the ball well and our transition was not up to our normal standards. We showed a lot of areas that we can improve upon. Montclair made a great effort and played virtually error free ball that we strived for. Coach [Eddie] Stawinski had his girls ready to play and they executed very well. They are a good example of what a program can become with discipline and hard work.”

NJCU is idle for one week until it hosts Hunter College on Tuesday, September 25 at 6 p.m. at the John J. Moore Athletics and Fitness Center.
