Rutgers-Camden (6-23, 2-5 NJAC) won its second straight match while the Gothic Knights (6-22, 1-6 NJAC) lost their ninth straight. The Raptors served 15 aces and posted 38 kills against just six errors in 79 attacks (.405).
NJCU hit .031 (12-10-65), with junior middle hitter
JADE MEDLEY (Queens, NJ/Hudson Catholic) finishing with a team-high four kills (4-1-15, .200). Junior setter
MADELYN LEON (West New York, NJ/Memorial) collected 11 assists. Senior libero
CINDY GARCIA (West New York, NJ/Memorial) defended a match-high nine digs to overcome six reception errors.
Camden was led by
Morgan Halbruner who notched a .538 attack rate and nine kills (9-2-13), adding two blocks.
Cari Applegate hit .467 with eight kills and one error (15 attempts).
Olivia Rowland registered a .556 percentage, landing five kills on nine attempts without an error, while chipping in four blocks. Setter
Michelle Dixon delivered 18 assists and three aces.

Melanie Kaiser landed five aces,
Cortnee Wilkerson tallied five kills (5-2-13, .231), six digs and three aces and
Sydney Allen provided a .400 attack rate with four kills (4-0-10) and two aces.
Camden had 16 kills in the opening set, hitting .389 (16-2-36), before adding 11 kills in each of the final two sets, including an incredible .611 team percentage in the final game, when the Raptors had 11 kills without an error in 18 chances. NJCU had seven kills in the first set but just five the remainder of the match.
NJCU is back home on Saturday, October 26 when it hosts a four-school, two-court, six-match quad event at the John J. Moore Athletics and Fitness Center. Opponents will include Immaculata University, Mount Saint Mary College (NY) and SUNYIT, with matches at 11 a.m., 1 p.m. and 3 p.m.
