Junior point guard JUSTIN HARTE (Irvington, NJ/Irvington) came off the bench to register a game-best and career-high 15 points. He had only 11 points in his first eight career games as a Gothic Knight and had never collected more than three points in a game prior to Saturday's outburst, finishing with 5-of-10 from the field and 4-of-8 from three-point distance in just 20 minutes of action.

Junior point guard JOURDAN ROBERSON (Brooklyn, NY/University (Newark)) finished with 14 points on 5-of-9 shooting and 4-of-7 three-point accuracy, adding four assists and two steals. He netted 14 of NJCU's 24 first half points. Sophomore guard KHALID MUHAMMAD (Orange, NJ/Orange) tallied eight rebounds (seven defensive) and seven points. No other Gothic Knight scored more than six and outside of Harte and Roberson, NJCU shot 2-of-13 from three-point territory.

Randolph had three players muster 14 points. Zach Desgain tallied his 14 points on a perfect 6-for-6 free throws, adding two triples (3-8 FG, 2-3 3FG), nine rebounds (eight defensive) and three assists.

Dylan Shiflett shot 4-of-9 from the field (6-10 FT) with nine rebounds. Mike Ehilegbu made 5-of-6 foul shots and 3-of-5 from three-point distance (3-8 FG) with seven rebounds.

While Roberson accounted for much of NJCU's first half scoring, seven different Randolph players had a field goal among the team's nine made shots in the period as RC led early and never trailed, leading 30-24 at the intermission.

Randolph jumped out to a 10-0 lead in the first three minutes of the game, with threes made by Evan Horn and Ehilegbu and led by a dozen midway through the period (20-8). NJCU did not attempt a first half foul shot while Randolph was awarded 13 free throws, making eight, and that paid dividends as the half progressed. Randolph maintained 12-point leads (23-11, 26-14, and 28-16). NJCU was able to draw within six at the half by holding the Wildcats off the scoreboard for the final 3:53 of the period.

But that was as close as NJCU could get as Randolph pushed the lead to 13 just three minutes into the second period, 39-26, on a three by Ehilegbu. The Wildcats led by as many as 13 four times in the period and double figures for much of the action before prevailed by a dozen.
