ASHLEY O'BEIRNE (Wood-Ridge, NJ/Immaculate Conception) fired a five-hit shutout in game one—her fifth shutout of the season and eighth of her career to tie for second place in program history.
With the split, NJCU is 10-11 overall. CSI, which leads the all-time 'Bayonne Bridge Series' by a 23-17 margin, is 6-7.
