PETER TYLUTKI NAMED ASSISTANT WOMEN’S SOCCER COACH

- Peter Tylutki will train two-time All-NJAC keeper Brittany Hoffman.

JERSEY CITY, NJ (NJCUGothicKnights.com) | Peter Tylutki (Wayne, NJ) has been named as an assistant women's soccer coach at New Jersey City University for the 2013-14 season, first-year head coach Michael Vivino has announced.
 
Tylutki, 28, will serve as the Gothic Knight goalkeeping coach, training two-time All-New Jersey Athletic Conference keeper BRITTANY HOFFMAN (McMurray, PA/Peters Township), who will enter her junior season this fall.
 
Tylutki makes the jump to the collegiate ranks after serving as both head and assistant coach of the boys' varsity soccer program at Barringer High School in Newark, NJ. He served as head coach of the Blue Bears for two seasons (2006-08). He returned to the school as an assistant coach in 2011-12.
 
He has additional experience as an assistant coach at the Metropolitan Soccer Academy since 2008, serving under Vivino.
 
A 2012 graduate of William Paterson University in Wayne, NJ with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology, he played three seasons for the Pioneers from 2004-07 for Coach Brian Woods. As a sophomore, he logged three games in net (two starts), with a 1-1 record, one shutout and six saves in 205:00 minutes for a 1.76 goals against average.
 
A 2004 graduate of Wayne Valley High School, he played four seasons of soccer (three varsity) for Coach Dan Kilday (2001-03). He was a member of an Indians side that reached the 2001 Passaic County finals.
