But the Knights had no answer for Keystone outside hitter
Hannah Zuchowski, who was named Most Valuable Player of the Quad, after pounding out 17 kills for a .467 attack percentage (17-3-30) in three sets, adding four service aces. She had more kills individually than NJCU as a squad.
Shelby Morgan finished with nine kills (9-4-22, .227) and seven digs. No other KC player had more than three kills.

Carol Mosier dished a double-double of 29 assists and 12 digs with four aces.
Anya Cerniglia provided 12 digs and five aces as the Giants landed 17 in the three sets.
Danielle Cedeno defended 16 digs.

NJCU did not have more than four kills individually. Junior middle hitter
JADE MEDLEY (Queens, NJ/Hudson Catholic) had the best performance, finishing with five blocks (four assisted) and four kills.

KC led from start to finish in set one when the hosts held a 14-3 margin in kills. The hosts led 17-6 before cruising to the 25-12 win.
Zuchowski had six kills in the period.

The Giants hit .417 as a team in game two, putting away a dozen winners (12-2-24). NJCU had nine kills in the period.
Zuchowski again tallied six kills as Keystone pulled in front, 17-6, for the second game in a row and eventually won by the same score, 25-12.

NJCU trailed 15-8 in the third set before rallying with a 7-2 run to make it a two-point deficit, 17-15. But KC answered with a 7-2 spurt of its own, with
Zuchowski landing back-to-back aces for a 23-17 lead, as the Giants concluded the three-set win, 25-18.

NJCU is off until Thursday, October 3 at 7 p.m. when it faces Ramapo College in Mahwah, NJ in a New Jersey Athletic Conference match.
