Stockton Pulls Away in Early Second Half, Tops #NJCUWSOC, 6-0

GALLOWAY, NJ (NJCUGothicKnights.com) | Richard Stockton College led 1-0 at the half before scoring three times in a span of 5:19 early in the second half as the Ospreys downed the New Jersey City University women's soccer team, 6-0, in a New Jersey Athletic Conference game on October 18 at G. Larry James Stadium.

Stockton (10-7-0, 6-2-0 NJAC) outshot NJCU (3-8-2, 0-7-0 NJAC) by a 20-1 margin and held a 6-1 edge in corner kicks. It was NJCU's sixth straight loss; the Knights are winless in their last eight contests (0-7-1).

After an own goal in the 17th minute was all the offense in a first half in which Stockton had a 7-0 edge in shots, the Ospreys tallied goals at 48:25, 51:03 and 53:44 to pull away. Stockton added goals in the 71st and 81st minute to cap its scoring effort.
