CURRENT NJCU Baseball Schedule
JERSEY CITY, NJ (NJCUGothicKnights.com) |
New Jersey City University's non-conference baseball game against FDU-Florham on Tuesday, April 15 has been rained out. A new date for the postponement will be announced moving forward.
Meanwhile, NJCU has made two other changes to its schedule to account for lost non-conference contests. On Monday, April 21 at 8 p.m. NJCU will face Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, NJ. That will make up the postponed home game between the schools on April 13.
Also, NJCU's scheduled single game at Moravian College in Bethlehem, PA on Sunday April 27 at 1 p.m. has been expanded to a pair of seven-inning contests, to allow both schools to make up previous rain outs. NJCU's rained out games against Immaculata University (March 30) and College of Mount Saint Vincent (April 8) won't be rescheduled, leaving the Knights with 39 of a possible 40 games.
In a wild spring where the schedule has been in constant flux, NJCU has now had 12 games postponed and/or cancelled—nearly all because of weather. Three other games will be made up in late April or early May.
Any future postponements, cancellations or rescheduled contests will be announced on NJCUGothicKnights.com and via NJCU's official athletics Twitter feed, @NJCU_Athletics.
