FORT MYERS, Fla. (NJCUGothicKnights.com) | The University of Pittsburgh-Bradford scored five runs in the first two innings and limited the 
New Jersey City University softball team to four hits in an 8-0 6-inning outcome on March 9 in game three of the Gene Cusic Collegiate Classic for the Gothic Knights.
 
The Panthers, members of the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Classic (AMCC), improved to 2-1; NJCU dropped to 0-3.
 
Pitcher 
Taylor Collins improved to 2-0 by tossing a complete-game four-hit shutout with two walks and one strikeout in 6.0 innings.
 
Center fielder 
Brianna Stenta was 2-for-3 with two RBIs and a run scored and third baseman 
Amber Fox added a 2-for-2 effort with two runs and a walk. Right fielder 
Cassidy Lewis was 2-for-3 with two runs.
 
NJCU did not have a player with multiple hits. Freshman 
Kelly Wilkinson (Parlin, NJ/Kearny) had a double. Senior left-handed pitcher 
Ashley Latushko (Kearny, NJ/Kearny) took the loss (0-2).
 
Pitt-Bradford got all the offense it needed in the first when 
Stenta had an infield single to score 
Fox. After a wild pitch pushed the second run across, 
Stenta came across on a sacrifice fly. She added an RBI single in the second. 
Fox enforced the eight-run rule with a sixth-inning RBI double.
