New Jersey City University and The College of New Jersey combined for 34 hits in game one and NJCU outhit the Lions 15-7 in game two but TCNJ managed to sweep the New Jersey Athletic Conference doubleheader from the Knights on April 11, winning game one, 20-7 before holding on to take game two, 13-8, at George Ackerman Park. The two games combined to last six hours and 50 minutes.

After winning seven of eight games, NJCU has now dropped four straight NJAC games, falling to 10-12 and 3-7 in the league. The Lions climbed to .500 (10-10, 3-4 NJAC).

Sophomore right fielder
Eric Giordano (Metuchen, NJ/JFK-Iselin) reached base six times in the doubleheader, batting a combined 4-for-7 with three RBIs, two runs and two walks and in the process, extended his two-year consecutive games on-base streak to 36 straight.

Senior third baseman
Michael Martucci (Bayonne, NJ/Saint Peter's Prep) upped his career hits mark to 176—one shy of second place in school history—and has reached base in 19 straight outings.
TCNJ left fielder
Garen Turner batted 3-for-7 with seven RBIs and four runs and right fielder
Patrick Roberts combined to go 4-for-7 with five RBIs, seven runs and three walks.
