With the split, both teams finished the NJAC schedule at 6-12 in the league but NJCU (14-20) finished above William Paterson (20-14) in the standings by virtue of a win over regular-season champion Rutgers-Camden last week. NJCU posted its most conference wins in a season since going 6-11-1 in 1999.
Sophomore
Zach Buchholz (Colonia, N.J./JFK-Iselin), the first baseman in game one and second baseman in game two, batted a combined 5-for-11 with five runs. Senior shortstop
Michael Martucci (Bayonne, N.J./Saint Peter's Prep) had a hit in each game to extend his consecutive games on-base streak to 31 while notching his 191st and 192nd career hits (33rd double)—now four shy of matching the career program standard (196).
