New Jersey City University freshman point guard
Tu'ziah Hall (Greenville, N.C./Bannecker (NC)) led all scorers with 28 points in Saturday's loss against SUNY Old Westbury. The Gothic Knights ended the third quarter on a 10-0 run to get within eight points (60-52), but it wasn't enough as they fell, 78-65, in non-conference action on December 17 at the John J. Moore Athletics and Fitness Center (Charlie Brown Court).
Hall's 58 combined points against TCNJ and Old Westbury set a school rookie scoring record for points in consecutive games. In the loss, she shot 6-of-13 from three-point range and 10-of-23 overall and again had at least 20 at the end of the third quarter for NJCU (3-8, lost six). For the eighth time this season
Hall was the team's leading scorer. In addition to her 28 points,
Hall dished out five assists and forced four steals in 38 minutes of play.
Three Old Westbury (5-2) players had double-double performances against NJCU.
Ruth Vargas (Brentwood, N.Y.) led the Panthers with 25 points and 11 rebounds (eight offensive) on 11-of-19 shooting,
Monique Joseph (Elmont, N.Y.) shot 6-for-12 as she scored 14 points and grabbed a game-high 13 rebounds with four assists and four steals, and 6-foot-2 center
Charlotte Renker (Mineola, N.Y.) netted 13 points (6-12), hauled in 10 boards, and registered four blocks on the night.
Jasmine Robinson (White Plains, N.Y.) scored 11 points, forced a game-high seven steals, and added six assists as four Panthers scored in double digits against NJCU.

Tiana Hill (Brandywine, Md./Gwynn Park (Md.)) scored eight points for the third time this season and fell one point shy of her career-high in only 11 minutes of action. Senior guard
