(NJCUGothicKnights.com) | New Jersey City University unleashed a 20-3 run late in the first half to open up separation and knocked down 13 three-pointers as the Gothic Knights cruised to an 81-64 New Jersey Athletic Conference men's basketball home victory over Rutgers University-Camden on December 3 at the John J. Moore Athletics and Fitness Center (Charlie Brown Court).

Senior shooting guard
Jalen Harris (Brandywine, Md./Gwynn Park (Md.)), the NJAC Player of the Week, scored a game-high 20 points in just 24 minutes, knocking down 7-of-11 from the field and 4-of-7 three-point tries with three assists to help the Gothic Knights (6-1, 3-0 NJAC) to their fourth consecutive victory.

Freshman power forward
Sam Toney (Somerdale, N.J./Williamstown) connected on 7-of-9 shots (3-5 3FG) and generated 17 points in just 20 minutes of action. Â With the Gothic Knights up by 20 with early in the second half, NJCU's starters did not play in the final 12:30 of the game.

Isaac Destin scored 19 (6-12 FG, 7-8 FT) and had 11 rebounds for a double-double for Rutgers-Camden, which dropped to 0-4 (0-3 NJAC).
