MADISON, N.J. (NJCUGothicKnights.com) | For the second straight game, a big second inning by the opposition was the difference in the outcome. FDU-Florham scored six runs in the second inning and defeated the
New Jersey City University baseball team, 12-5, in a non-conference makeup game on April 13.
Â
FDU-Florham (8-14-1) accumulated 19 hits and led 7-0 before later adding four runs in the bottom of the seventh for some necessary insurance after NJCU (13-9, lost 3) began chipping away with three runs in the fifth and another in the seventh.
