JERSEY CITY, N.J. (NJCUGothicKnights.com) | New Jersey City University's final baseball game of the 2016 season against New York University, scheduled for Tuesday, May 3 at 3:30 p.m. at the Thomas M. Gerrity Athletic Complex has been rained out. Weather permitting, the schools will make up the game on Friday, May 6 at 3:30 p.m. in Jersey City.
 
It is the eighth postponement or cancellation of the spring season for NJCU baseball and the second straight rainout after NJCU's non-conference makeup at St. Joseph's College (LI) was cancelled on May 1. Should the game not be made up, NJCU will conclude its 69th season of baseball with 38 games and a 15-23 ledger.
