JERSEY CITY, N.J. (NJCUGothicKnights.com) | New Jersey City University's final baseball game of the 2016 season against New York University, rescheduled for Friday, May 6 (3:30 p.m.) at the Thomas M. Gerrity Athletic Complex after previously being rained out on Tuesday, May 3, has been rained out and cancelled.
 
The rain out will conclude the 2016 season—the 69th of baseball at the institution—as the Gothic Knights completed a final 38-game slate with a 15-23 ledger. The rain out is the ninth postponement or cancellation of the spring season.
