JERSEY CITY, N.J. (NJCUGothicKnights.com) | With nearly a foot of fresh snow still covering the Thomas M. Gerrity Athletic Complex, New Jersey City University's baseball home opener vs. Lehman College on Saturday, March 18 (11:30 a.m.) is postponed. The makeup date is Wednesday, April 5 at 3:30 p.m. in Jersey City.
 
The postponement marks the sixth this season against four different opponents, including the third this week because of Winter Storm Stella.
 
With three home games scheduled on Tuesday through Thursday next week—March 21 (Old Westbury), March 22 (St. Joseph's-Brooklyn) and March 23 (Drew)—a decision regarding the status of those contests will be made once field conditions are determined.
